Brewer of the world famous Samichlaus which entered in the Guinness Book of Records 1982 as the strongest beer in the world (brewed now under licence by Eggenberg). The Lager is still produced by Feldschlösschen. And - interesting fact - the Hürlimann Lager is also still brewed nowadays (and since 1973) by the english brewery Shepherd Neame.

Clever and fine. But as they are using the ""drink local"" trend for boosting their sales, they will try to be consequent and build their own brewery in Zürich. This should be done by the end of 2010. April 2010: the beers are now brewed in Switzerland by Falken. So it looks like they gave up the idea to build their own plant (I don't think this was ever an option ...). Their beers are available in retail business in the german speaking part of the country which very certainly made them pass over the 10'000 hl range. Declared bankruptcy in 2012."
