"Brewer: Urs Rüegg | The brewery has been founded in 1862 by the brothers Schmid et Johann Steiner at the same place it still stays nowadays. This family-owned enterprise has 35 employees and is led by the 5th generation of the german family Beck which own Baar since 1902. This brewery enjoys an impressive growth: 8'500 hl in 2005, then 9'500 in 2006, 12'000 in 2008, 13'500 in 2010, 15'723 in 2013, 20'000 in 2016 and 25'000 in 2020. Brews on a 70 hl installation.
