A hugely discrete brewery which uses very few marketing and never participates to beer festivals. Brews probably one of the most static range of products with 5 core beers + one for Christmas; and the same ones since about 20 years. Beer styles is an unknown concept to them and their beers - pretty decent by the way - are defined by their colors."

Brewing on a 30 hl installation. Their quite massive overcapacity allow them to rent their installation (for example Baz'Art) or to help other breweries during renovations (for ex. Virage in 2023).
Valaisanne Founded in 1865	Route de Rawyl 30 1950 Sion 4	# hl list of beers	14	12.1	"Brewer: Michael Ruppert. It was 1865 when the Dutch pharmacist Maurice de Quay started to brew beers. The name he gave to the brewery was then St. Georges, a name kept until 1926. At that time the Valaisanne was producing 13'000 hectoliters per year. After a modernization of its equipments in 1951, the brewery started an expansion. It was 1972 when Feldschlösschen took over the Valaisanne which had then an ouput of 70'000 hl. Since reaching a top of 90'000 hectoliters in 1993, the brewery has been constantly losing market shares (60'000 in 2005 and probably less nowadays though no official numbers are disclosed). Luckily for Feldschlösschen, they forgot to close the Valaisanne after the take-over which allows them to produce ""small"" batches and to practice some very nice examples of craft-washing. Offers mainly modest lagers but, to be honest, the Zwickel, the Ämrich Weizen and the Pale Ale are pretty decent. Check also their newest creations.

The own and ambitious brewery opened in 2016 and is surely the most ""crafty"" brewery in the country. The capacity is increasing very fast, going from 6'000 hl to 12'500 hl (mid-2018). It has about 16 employees and offers a huge diversity and a great quality: 5 core beers, many one-shots and many collabs. Hosting CôteWest Brewing and l'Échappée as gypsy brewers. Exports to France, Denmark and Italy (about 40% of the production). Member of the Swiss breweries association since November 2018. Former head brewers: Chris Treanor and Etienne Marais."

Opened a second brewery in Kirchgässli 8 2502 Biel in 2017 with the former equipment from Crans-Montana (http://brasserie-la-marmotte-bienne.ch). Brewed for a while only small batches at the Biel location which does not refrain them to fully play on the drink local syndrom. Opened a bigger plant in Biel (Seevorstadt 79) in September 2019 and a smaller one in Juli 2023 in Wangen an der Aare (Brauerei BÜR). Except the nice IPA, all their beers are at best of average quality or below. And brews quite outside styles definitions. Produces 9 core beers and some seasonals.

Started in September 2019 and brewed on the same installation as Lynx Movement until 2022. Switch then to a client brewer status (contract brewed at la Nébuleuse). Facing solid problems since the end of 2023 as importants distributors stepped out in reaction to the disclosure of sexual abuses in the abbey. They lost also a projected contract with WhiteFrontier, where their beers should have been brewed after leaving la Nébuleuse. Facing also a very dark future...
This brewery relies on a clever marketing, claiming to produce the only abbey beers in the country and using 700 years old yeast found on a parchment.
Offers beers of decent quality in belgian styles.
