Please note: considering the huge and neverending development of the world of beer in many countries, my comments below may be quite out-of-date.
This small island is an anomaly in the region. They got their brewing tradition from the british occupation time of the 19th
century when the brewery Simonds Farsons Cisk was created. And they are still brewing ales and stout nowadays.
All those beers were send to me by Per Samuelsson in 2003.
