from Erzbierschof.ch - black beer under a solid and long lasting dark creamy beige foam; nice lace; robust aroma of cocoa and black chocolate; very roasted and with some hop presence; notes of walnuts; full-bodied and very tasty; a subtle yet solid carbonation; a robust bitterness in top of some sweetness; velvety mouthfeel; very long and very bitter roasted coffeish and chocolatey aftertaste along with nutty, piney, woody and hoppy notes - a tremendous and highly complex beer !
