Comment:

from crackedkettle.com; 2008 vintage - pours a dark brown colour with no head retention; stupendous and complex aroma showing woods, a fair amount of vanilla, plums and dark cherries; it develops notes of nuts and pine needles while getting warmer; thick and hugely malty, nice balance between sweetness and bitterness, low carbonation and quite sticky; very long bitter finish with lot of residual sugars, vanilla, chocolate, raisins and robust warming alcohol notes - a mind-blowing, complex and robust contemplative brew
