Pours a slightly hazy amber colour, very little foam, deeply complex aroma of wood, cognac, nuts and honey, a touch of alcohol, strong initial sweetness, oily and full-bodied, long bitter aftertaste showing notes of caramel, madeirisation, wood and finishing by a deep warming alcohol touch - this is an amazing beer !
