Despite its respectable size, it is a very local brewery and their products are hard to find outside the canton of Geneva. Brews some Velosophe beers under contract and also exporting to the USA (Washington).

Most brews are a new recipe and, strangely enough in this part of the country, the brewers are brewing bottom-fermented beers (except the wheat of course). Uneven quality but some of their beers can be really good. Its goal is to reach 2000 to 3000 hl in the next years.

Inspired by the concept of les 3 Brasseurs in France (modern-style brewpubs serving mostly fast food), les Brasseurs started in Geneva (1997) before invading more cities of the french-speaking part of Switzerland: Lausanne (2000), Nyon (2001), Neuchâtel (2007) and Sion (2015). Offer top-fermented, mainly poor, out-of-style and sometimes pretty bad beers. A bad publicity for craft beers.

The beers are brewed elsewhere in the country (Turbinenbräu) and were at sometimes even brewed in France. This fact was originally maintained secret, probably because of the importance of the marketing aspect to brew local beer. The status of la Belle de Genève was quite unknown in 2004. They had to face some financial problems and closed the Brasserie Artisanale de Genève (which probably never really existed ...). They came back in march 2005 with the ambition to build a brewery in Genève. It looks again a bit different since 2007 as the phone number and email published on the contact list are no more valid and it seems you have to make your orders via the webmaster ... Very strange.
